Sunday school classes for children (preschool through Senior High) are held during the weekly worship service.
Children and Sunday School teachers return to worship on Communion Sundays to share in the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
Communion Preparation for children is offered occasionally and by request.
Infant/child baptism is available on request.
What We Offer for Children, Youth, and Families

We offer nursery/childcare during worship, retreats, and the Thursday morning Women’s Bible Study
ECF’s Bible Discovery Zone (Sunday School) meets during worship and uses the Workshop Rotation Model
of Christian Education to reinforce the same Bible story or theme over 4 or 5 weeks using a variety of learning strategies in different workshops (drama, cooking, science, video, music, writing, computers, etc.).
Confirmation Class prepares older children for active participation in the life of the church and to articulate their own adult faith.
ECF supports the ministry of Young Life (YL) and Wyld Life (WL) and encourages ECFers to involve their children in these school-based ministries.
ECF proudly offers WSYWYG (What You See Is What You Get), a west side Youth Group to complement YL/WL. This group is for grades 8-12. Contact Stacey Steck at 8395-9653 for more information.

(Coming Soon)
At ECF, we take seriously Jesus’ words to welcome children, not only the littlest ones, but all ages!
ECF’s approach to ministry with children is simple: that through this ministry, children will be attracted to Jesus and his Church, sustained in their faith and sense of belonging in our church family, and encouraged in the transition from their parents' faith to their own.
A key part of our approach is strengthening the families of which children are a part. That is why we try to make as many activities as possible multi-generational. We all have something to learn from one another!
If you have any questions about ECF’s programs, opportunities to get involved, or about your child(ren)’s faith development, please contact Pastor Stacey Steck at 8395-9653 or Christine Little at 2289-3623.
We look forward to meeting your children soon!
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.”
